The SB Nike Dunk Low Wasted Youth brings a more rugged and deconstructed look that’s different from Verdy’s first sneaker collab. Inspired by the relationship between punk and skate culture, the upper is composed of patchwork black denim and hits of black tumbled leather throughout. On each shoe’s medial side is Wasted Youth’s rose logo stitched alongside the Nike Swoosh to show true collaboration between the brands. The sneaker also features a DIY option on the lateral side’s Swoosh, where wearers can cut the black stitching to reveal a white-outlined Swoosh underneath. Lastly, Wasted and Youth embroidered on the heel tab is met with a D-Ring further touching on the design’s punk inspiration.
